Investor Engagement Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact globally on how banks, insurers, asset managers and owners respond to the key environmental challenges of climate change.

You will work to create new relationships, grow and maintain existing relationships globally with the goal of amplifying and accelerating the adoption of SBTs in the financial sector. A core responsibility will be to manage and expand the number of Financial Institutions engaging with the SBTi. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within CDP and the SBTi global teams. You will work in close coordination with the SBTi Corporate Engagement team and the Financial Institutions core team.

Senior Technical Manager

The SBTi Senior Technical Manager is a new position. The postholder will work to help develop technical resources, guidance and tools to drive the adoption of climate targets in line with the ambition required to limit warming to 1.5°C with a special focus on industry and heavy emitting sectors. A core responsibility will be to lead a project intended to develop guidance to inform 1.5°C-aligned targets in the built environment or steel sectors. You will report to the SBTi Senior Technical Manager and will be part of the SBTi Technical Working Group.

Project Officer for Technical Working Group

The Project Officer for Technical Working Group is a new role within the SBTi, working at the forefront of action to develop pathways for setting climate change targets in line with the ambition required to limit warming to 1.5°C in industry and heavy emitting sectors. The postholder will work to support Technical Managers that are developing these target setting methodologies. You will be responsible for carrying out critical tasks including project management, meeting organisation, external communications and data analysis to facilitate the Technical Working Groups activities.
